i wish i was in florida.. you'd get the job, no doubt.. im up north near nj tho... havent dug into repairing it yet as its been 90+ degrees up here and the door is stuck in the cold position so it kinda works out for the time being.. ive done just ab everything else that needed attention... saving the best for last (lol)..... its tough to decide weather or not to take it on the highway for 1 simple fact- i spent almost 2 hours on the front clip compunding, wet sanding, buffing and getting all the crap that has stuck to it since 97. the prev owner never really cleaned it by hand. doubt it ever had a buffing wheel on it & basicly, whatever the car wash could get, was all that was done to keep it clean.. i sware, baby shampoo is the best stuff to wash a car with.. tho, it doesnt really get the hard stuff off, it does keep a great shine & doesnt strip the wax or glaze off at all... does a good job on carpets too.. i used lexol(?) leather cleaner followed by johnson's baby skin lotion on the interior and rub'd it in by hand... really brought it back to life without the tacky "wet" look that armor all or other stuff leaves.. next thing is the headlights... there not really all that bad but do need some wetsanding and buffing... think im gonna do them on the bench instead of risking burning the edges on the car.....& the list continues.......:D
