cool, I have a few cams myself. I'm playing with your PTZ cam, couldn't help myself! What kind of cams do you run?

I disabled PTZ for the rear camera 'cause it's not working right. :) Wait until tomorrow morning. We're supposed to get 20 plus inches.

I'll have to check back. I'd give you the log in for mine but they are aimed in the house temporarily since there are going to be some contractors coming in to take care of some water damage from an ice dam. Got to keep an eye on everything!

These are the camera's I have. http://tinyurl.com/6h78fmt

What's really cool is with the right software on your PC (or Mac in my case) and on your smart phone, (iPhone in my case) you can check all the camera's from any where there is internet in the world. The camera on my Mac is also available to view but that's disabled except for me, for obvious privacy issues. :)

I have a few different ones, although all network IP cams. I have 3 el cheepo trend net cams. They work well in good light and they are very cheap. They are just so I know when a car drives in our driveway. I have one of these trigger a door bell sound. I also have an abs megacam that is a pan and tilt unit for keeping an eye on the rear entrance room and the rear of the house. I also have three high end sony ipela security cams. These you can put different lenses on and they have EXCELLENT low light sensitivity. I can see my whole yard without illumination other than a sliver of moon light. I use these with a zoom lens to get plate numbers of any car that comes in the yard. I also have one in each garage building (2). I use blue iris software on my pc to monitor and record. On my phone I use an ip cam program and the same on my ipad. I had a few issues with a guy renting part of one of my garages and some very odd traffic in my driveway at random times (large driveway that goes around the back of the house)....

Hmmm, doesn't work for me (looks java related), but I figure, I can look out my own windows. Looks like it's gonna be worse than I thought, had to go out earlier and the roads were already bad just due to this HORRID wind.

Paul, were you here in '67? I was only 4 1/2, but I still remember the snow being higher than me, and I kinda remember my mom taking me and my brother on a sled up to the corner store.

Oh yes I was here. Took me 6 hours to get home from work in the loop. I used to drive to Logan Square to catch the "L" then drive home to the Harlem & Belmont area in my '65 Mustang. I had a real tough time getting home.

When I got home I thought that was the worst of it and couldn't believe what it looked like in the morning.

LAst_M...I had no idea you are so close. We should hook up some time. I just shoveled the drive way. It was drifting pretty good.

Pretty cool. It was very grainy on my computer. Was I actually moving the camera when I was panning right and left?

I guess my browser doesn't have Java?:D

We started getting hit around 7 PM. The roads were slippery in 15 minutes.

If you looked after dark, the picture is grainy because i have it set up to adjust automatically for night. In the day, it's quite a sharp picture. And, yes you can PNT the front camera. The rear camera PNT is not working right.

If I'm not mistaken, I bought my Mark where Trixie bought hers many moons ago. Schaumburg Lincoln Mercury on Golf.

Yep, purchased at same dealer. How bad is it by you? I can't open the front door and I'm a little freaked (the wind noise is ridiculous). Can't even tell how much it's snowing cause the wind is so bad. I can't see much out the window either. At least there's no snow pileup on the roofs, like the 79 snow ;).
