What's really cool is with the right software on your PC (or Mac in my case) and on your smart phone, (iPhone in my case) you can check all the camera's from any where there is internet in the world. The camera on my Mac is also available to view but that's disabled except for me, for obvious privacy issues.

Right now my cat is all nervous. She loves sitting on a chair and looking out the window and the snow is blocking her view.
