If you mean "nice" by having a college education and a fulltime job that you excel at along with the crucial financial responsibility and knowledge needed to live comfortably and afford to splurge a little on my hobby of choice...
Then yes it is nice.
Making wise decisions and sacrifices beforehand to live a life of zero debt has its perks. More Americans should try it.
