first step mark viii S.V.T.

Well might as well stir up more contraversey(ie #$%@) J asked for a couple of side shots. please keep in mind I'm going for a "period of time" look. this is what a 95' cobra wing looked like. believe it or not in person it matches the body lines of the mark better than I expected!

can I have your wheels once you decided to add some tacky one to match your wing :D

IT really dosent look good at all it doesnt flow with car it looks like it belongs on a civic

its a real 95 cobra wing cut to clear hump and stand offs moded to fit mkviii deck lid. the rear window brake light isn't going to last long(havn't rewired car yet so to keep local law enforcement happy right now it has two) ever notice how many late model @#$% boxes have two from factory! I agree two does look stupid! (only temp. paint on wing right now [duplicolor] just didn't want a bunch of primered parts on my mark.)

as for the rims once I put the cobra brakes and factory wheels on these won't fit(and I won't be dealing with warped rotors anymore!) I hav'nt decided what I'm going to do with these. my brother or mom might want them for their markviii's or I might use the take off hubs and them to build a A.T.V. trailer for my pick-up.(my back rotors will be as large as YOUR fronts plus the mark is 500 lbs heavier you do the math!)

Is that Matt?! Whats UP DOOD! :D

The side shots look better then the rear shot, but it still needs more. I bet a body kit, or filling in the void under the rear of the spoiler would be sweet! Make it a smooth/blended wing.

good point I'm going to get rear diffuser panel finished(2003-04 cobra to match eng. mods.plus place for intercooler radiator to mount) then decide what else (your right it looks off right now)

To each his own....a lot of people didn't like my hood when I had it made.....one of a kind. :D

i thought i would like mine but i changed my mind and after 3 days working on it and spending wasteful money i threw it in the dumpster. i cant talk about what anyone does to these cars, but for me personally, i have grown to like the way they look with no body bods at all, just nice paint, nice wheels, and a low stance and im happy!! jesse what i didnt like about your hood was 2 things, the height for one, but the fact that the scoop just out of no where started on the hood, they look better when they come up gradually fron the point.

then after i decided i hated it and put another hood on that i had luckily it had perfectblack paint on it !!

i honestly like this look much better, but now the front is all blacked out including the new grille i need to get some recent pics.

like you said differnt strokes for different folks. I'm anxious to graft 96-98 cobra hood onto my spare hood (still keep stock one just in case!)

You dont have to graft a Cobra hood to the Mark hood. Supercoupe Performance already sells these.
The rear wings crack at the edges because there made of a 2 part thin matte fiberglass and hollow. I've never had a problem with mine ever. Just be very carefull and dont push the car with fingers on the wing cause you will crack it.
When they make them it should have spray foam put inside it when finished. The new kind that does not swell, and only conforms to the original shape. I still have to sand this one down and fix it, and will be filling it with the new style spray foam, then take it back to the painters.

i think they got that style also with the holes if i remember correctly, but I didnt like those. I do love that lower fairing on the white cobra though and in need of one to cover the intercooler.

Dont like the hood or the wing, looks gay. You cannot improve the cars original look. Except by adding an emblem !(Which they were going to do anyway but decided not to at the very end)

Im actually in the process of getting several balast's made for the gen2. You may have to retrofit the new balast under the trunk hum or something but it will work ! Anyone interested? Im getting mine very soon and am excited !

Not much man, got the Lincoln all apart sitting in a garage...bought a truck but afte gas hit $4 a gallon sold that as a trade in for a 04 BMW 545I 6-speed....other than that just working my ass off...hows the troopers treating ya?

I really don't care for the L-88 hood scoop or the cobra R style nothing wrong just too big(look) for me. I like the standard 96-98 cobra style and want the extra 2" hood clearence for a roots type blower. instead of 112c.i.d. lighting/terminator I want 256 or largerC.I.D.(still intercooled) just not turn as fast! same boost denser aircharge. I should be able to run either more timing at a given boost level or more boost at a given timing level.(does't hurt to help break up that vast area of flat we call the mkviii hood)

Matt....the troopers are treating me great. Its way funner then I thought it would ever be...and I'm getting paid for it! Glad you're doing good...hope you get the M8 back together...you putting those cams in it or what?

Merk...you need to update your profile so we know your name and where you live! Or I can just call you Merk. Haha! Sounds like you have some sweet plans for the M8, make sure you keep posting the pics (even though some chringe at the site) and ask if you have any questions! Trust me....people have done some crazy stuff with these cars! Terminator engine swaps, Aviator engine swaps, Gen1/Gen2 engine swaps, heck even a M8 drag car!

I'm not good at doing links to other sites but if you would like to check out a sweet 97 lsc go to (svt snake) check out the heavys section gen 2/terminator the guy did a super job!

J..no on just the cams, I got a whole terminator setup ready to go in if I ever get the time to work on it! While the car has been up I have almost finished the interior though...new carpet and mats. All the interior painting that I needed is done. Stereo is in. Once the suspension is done then its onto the body work that I have wanted to do for awhile now. Then I move to the motor!

Holy F man....you've been BUSY! :D I remember the interior painting you were doing, but that was soo long ago! Where did you get a Term motor at?
