Lol, enclosed trailer, covered, and strapped. Got a cheap qoute and Jeremi recommended I take it.
 
Jesse, Do you have a 91 octane tune loaded in the car? If not, I suggest before your foot goes to the floor, you go get yourself a dyno tune if the highest octane fuel you can buy in California is 91.

Almost all east coast power adder cars have a 93 octane and up tune in them.
 
You're asking the wrong person! I don't been know what stereo presets are in the thing, haha. If it needs it I'll do it. First I have to throw some cats on it and get it SMOG'd.
 
From what I understand you might want to have it looked at on a dyno with its current config anyway. I know 10:1 compression and the higher boost numbers that the car sees are approaching the limit of safe operation on pump gas. Stepping down to 91 might require a little more timing being taken out. It would be worth dyoning to see if its hitting the knock sensors on 91. I'll make sure it has a full tank of 93 when it ships out though!! ;)
 
hmmm yea I have no idea, that is one reason why I never bothered having it retuned or anything. There just wasn't a shop around here that I really trusted.
 
congrats on the sale/purchase, I always wished it would stay for sale until I had enough to buy it, lol. But 10 years may take too long, lol

It's okay to hate, lol, I had the same feelings before. :) Nice to know I was able to finally get it after two years. I really helped Eric out too so we both win.
 
I wish, I have all of January off but it's gonna be more economical and safer for the car to just ship it. :)
