It takes skills that's true ;)

Damn dude that is a cute trunk monkey!!

I sure wish it would quit raining so I can finish up cleaning the car!!! I still need to put another coat of Zaino on and get the engine compartment cleaned. I stops raining for a bit, but not long enough to dry the car before it starts again......I hear Saturday the sun might shine...... Ummmmm

No one should be worried about having the worst looking Mark there! The newbie (I believe thats me), will have that covered!

Man the closer we get....the closer I look at my car. Boy am I going to be embarassed about it with all those "lookers" down there! Plus I had to settle for a Rejection sticker due to the intake manifold runner code. Since the seafoam didnt work and its a typical obsolete part I am stuck, for now. Oh well so be it. I am still excited and looking forward to being there.

My goal for next year will be new paint and new rims! I just went through the front end and did uppers and lowers on both sides...yikes! So even if i could find the part, my wallet couldn't handle it right now. If my back wasn't so bad I had hoped to do it myself. I do plan on taking care of the runner myself. Back her in the garage and make it a winter project.

Keith

P.S. I can take a ribbing, so i will be ready!

No rain today...high humidity. Got the engine compartment and wheel done tho.....and it still looks as tho it's got 133,000 mile on it!

I need a bucket of Silver Frost and some $ to have it repainted.... at least the f & R bumpers and front end and hood. Dang little chips all over it..... Course, I have seen NEW cars that don't look as good as my Mark's paint.

Hubby washed and I believe waxed my car and she has bird poop on her already. :(

How he's going to get both cars ready is beyond me, since he seems to be having probs with his car, I have a sway bar coming soon, and my car needs lotsa lovin right now, though from a bit of a distance, she shines. But her real beauty is how she sounds, anyway.

Maybe that's why he keeps saying we should only take one car, lol.

Birds only poop on clean cars.:D

We've got a lot of faith in Beerdog (I still love that name). He'll git 'er done. Any left over detailing can be done at Carlisle, that's usually the way it works out for me.

Don't worry about the sway bar, bring the tools and bar to Carlisle, that can be swapped out there.:)

I'm halfway done . . .
Thursday: all new tires
Friday: oil changed + new pads/rotors

Sunday will be wax day + engine detail (that forecast better hold)!
Tuesday is alignment day.
Whew!!!

Well last week I had the car aligned, tires ballanced, and a new torque converter installed. Its washed and ready to hit the road in the very early AM hours on Friday. Hope to see you all there!

Yay! Chris, I didn't see your name (or notice it) on the pre-registration list. Did you pre-register with LOD? Let us know, and we can see if we can get that fixed.

:( man I wish I could go too. with all the flaws i keep hearing about i would feel right at home with all the work mine needs lol
