Got some stuff back from my powdercoater

Anything cool?

Did you miss the part where he said "5.0 stroker"? ;)

Mark, you're on the roll with this stuff ;)

Well, you got me started haha!

I mean seriously, I'm already at the point of inventorying every nut and bolt on the engine in order to find replacements. I'm sick!

For those of you who don't know, Jeremi performed a Pope-certified miracle on my car over the summer, turning it from a rust-laden hulk into the start of a factory-condition garage queen. I really need to post those pics he took in progress. Thing is, I'm ashamed as hell of the "before" pics. :D

For now I'll call it a Heritage/Racecraft Mark VIII. It will be a winter long project, but the outcome should be worth it. I might start a thread with updates for this one.

Mark, instead of replacing the bolts, have them blasted or wire wheeled. They all should clean up fine.

Or, if you want a 74k mile Cali engine, I have one here. It's clean, very clean all around. I also have a rear subframe calling your name.

Oh God help me...

I just wanted to note, that 03-04 Mach 1 manifolds are the same as the 03-04 Cobra's. I got a set for $12.00. I gave the kid a $20, cause he gave me some emission parts with them.

It took over two months, but I finally got my COP covers back.

It's hard to tell from the pics, but "POWERED BY" is in black and "FORD" is in blue. I'm not 100% happy with the gloss black in the recessed areas (the two "channels"). It picks up all the imperfections in the casting and looks kind of sloppy. I may just paint those areas flat black myself.

Nicest I've ever seen, Mark. It seems like there are few different ideas people have how to change that, but this one looks really good.
Good design, and covering the gray dull areas as well looks awesome.

Agreed! Those look amazing, Mark. I can't wait to see them on the car!

Is there anyway you can fill or grind the casting to make it smooth? I don't know but the gloss looks really good!
