The Chrome Bullits would be 18x9(those in the pic are 17s). The Chrome GT500s would be 18x9.5 with a bit less offset. I think the 275s in the rear and 255s in the front would be good with either wheel.

There are some guys out there with 20's, so I guess 19's & 18's aren't that special, just making sure you have all the clearance you need.
 
Personally on passenger and sports sport cars any thing larger that 19 just looks stupid. Plus it causes problems and diminishes the ride quality and capability of the car. The suspension is designed with a tire size in mined. 9 times out of 10 whenever I see a broke down car on the side of the road they have RIMS and not anything near what the cars was designed to do. Remember when spoke rims sticking out of the side of the cars 6 inches was big? I don’t know haw many broken cars I saw with the AXLES sticking out 3 feet because a pin in the yoke broke. Now lets go down the HW with 22 and the car raised 12 extra inches off the ground add wend pressure under the car, a higher center of gravity and you have a good old fashion BRONCO II rollover
 
I wouldn't get the Bullits personally, because others already have them. If I ever get to spend the bucks for the wheels I want, they'll be different from anything I've ever seen on a Mark. I love the look of the Bullits, but I'd want something different for myself.

My sentiments as well.

One reason I like the idea of FR500s on my car as i have not seen a Mark VIII with them. I'm sure there are a few but I haven't seen them if there are.

I would only do 18s.
 
I guess I'm lucky, in the Dallas area we don’t see many Mark VIII running around but whenever we do they are stock. the mustang is king and Cobra R wheels are popular. For that reason I didn’t want to Cobra R wheels because every mustang guy would see it as just another FORD with Mustang Wheels even though I love the aggressive look they add to the Mark. To me the Saleen Speeds make the car look sportier but keep some luxury about the car. This was my other choice. http://customwheel.com/custom_wheels/product_info.php/products_id/1369
 
I got my wheels today YAHOOOOOO, they look even better in person, i may have them sleep in my bed with me tonight.

There was a thread on here about a guy and his 98 Black LSC that got hit/run in his apartment parking lot. The front bumper was ripped off.......ring a bell?
