Hurray I'm a Newbie

I just thought I would say hello. I previously owned a 97 Mark, currently own a 94 Mark and my brother owns a 93 Mark. I've also had numerous T-birds in the past too. There isn't close to enough time or space to list out the Mustangs that I own/owned, so needless to say I am a F/L/M fan.

I have a pretty diverse performance background especially with blowers. If anyone has any questions I would be happy to answer them.

Thanks,
Chris

Man that is a HUUUGE Garage ! Welcome!

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately that isn't my garage, that picture was taken in the shop/garage of the previous owner. He had a sweet setup. Now the car resides outside in the driveway as the shop here is full with my racecar and another project Mustang.

Welcome, post some of your car

Here are some pictures of my cars that I have online....

My 94 Mark is a basketcase. I bought it cheap as the motor "has blown headgaskets". I'm still trying to decide if its worth fixing up or parting out. I'm tempted to part this one out and find a nicer 2nd gen Mark to drive.

Nice, got any plans for the 4.6 goin into the 65?

I vote for Gen II, but I am biased, they're just so sexy. Haha.

Probably will do a rods/pistons combo with a single 70-76mm turbo I imagine unless a Procharger blower comes about for cheap. I am shooting for something in the 500-550 rwhp range. Enough power to get in trouble, but not too much to make it undrivable long distances. My goal for the car is a fun pro touring style car with modern drivetrain (EFI, overdrive trans, 17-18" wheels, etc...)

Nice cars! Always got love for Notch's. For what its worth...Mark's don't usually blow the head gaskets, I bet you got a simple oil filter housing gasket failure. :)

We rescued my brothers 93 from a "head gasket failure" with a thermostat swap, but it looks like I might have run out of luck on the 94. I messed around with it last night and the motor sounds like it has little or no compression and it won't start. The car really isn't in that great of condition anyways so I will likely part it out and take the drivetrain for my 65 Mustang project. Then I can look for a cleaner car to drive.
