i got a spring feature 98 lsc ha ha!

The Mark VIIIs don't have a strong enough following and or collectors car status so selling a "rare" one doesn't mean squat to the average joe, who ends up being the buyer of most. I figured it was going to hit the scrapper. 20 years down the line... maybe then someone will say OMG you have done the unthinkable, but even then a car without original paint isn't worth much especially if the paint is the only thing that makes this Mark VIII special.
The rebuilt flood title is another thing too.............

Here come the vultures....

if they could only see this spring feature now lol. only thing left to it is the drivetrain. yes we tear them apart fast. 5 hours into it and the only thing left is drivetrain and the rear window. maybe i should take some pictures. now that i am tearing it apart im seeing its a total waste and im glad i didnt sell it to anyone, the car is a mess.

Is that because it is a "flood car"? If it was salvaged in 99 that must mean that flood caused some very major damage.

its not only rusty everwhere but the front frame horns are bent, the whole radiator core suport has been changed, the rear section of exhaust was replaced with factory 93-94 style mufflers with the 45 bent tips, the radiator was split, and the thin sheet metal pan under the radiator looked like someone had tried to jack the car up before using that because the pan is bent up about 3 inches and the radiator was shaped the same way all bent and mangled, this car is in worse shape then most of the crashed marks i get at the auction. it is a total piece of crap and one of the rustiest marks i have ever taken apart and i lived in massachusetts for 26 years. this car also was in massachusetts for part of its life but it looks like its been in the ice in alaska for its whole life. total trashed car.

OMG LMAO Max! HAHA!

Jamie, that thing sounds like it was a pile of crap! Good thing no one you know ended up buying it! Does it have the InTech cover? I can't find one anywheres!

Yes Jamie, the stripped photos please.

I'm more concerned in the rust areas (as you know I have a rusty Mark).

I just want to see how bad it is compared to my car. It's probably in better shape than mine.:D

Jesse it is a 98, so it doesn't have an Intech Cover. Only the 97 had it... Some people are willing to pay close to $100... I still don't know why?! I think the engine looks better without it.

here you go bill, enjoy the pics this thing is a toilet. i see now it has been crashed the entire radiator core has been replaced and someone used a paint brush and gold paint over all the welds to try and cover them up. i cant believe the piece of crap this thing is under the sheet metal. i wouldnt have put a penny into this car. i really wish we had looked at this car in person before buying it because if i had looked it over i would have never paid what i did for it this thing was so far past the point of restoring unless you were completely out of your mind!
