installing an XM radio

if ou want the neatest and best mount you want a ProClip, they make one specifically for the Mark VIII. http://www.proclipusa.com/brodit-ve...7-1998/proclip-angled-mount-852389-13081.aspx

It mounts on exhisting mounts behind the wood surround and all you need do then is buy the appropriate bracket for your unit to mount to it, they have for phones, GPS, radio, etc. I have them for the iPhone and they are perfect. This picture shows the mount with my old phone but you get the idea.
leo just noticed your post, they don't show a good picture on the site and yours is grainy, do you have a better picture?

took some pictures, I am certain I want to mount it to the top in the second picture, the space in front of the shifter is no good because it puts the xm radio too close to the shifter and thats annoying, the one off to the right side like that clip would put it seems to have knock me off written all over it, by the passenger.

are you going to bring it to Carlisle?

Sure, if it works for you, you can have it.

I'm not bringing much tools, so we may need to scrounge up a hacksaw to cut it to length and a file to smooth the edges down.

I'm sure Joe will have an axe and a sledgehammer though. :D
