Interested in a "Racing Team"?

I think it would be good to have the sticker in a few different sizes if possible. I would like on without the black but not a full rear window sticker. How about a small, medium, and large (full rear window) stickers My exhaust attracts enough attention. :D

Now assuming we are all grownups, I'd propose a verified run means a pic or scan of the timeslip showing the date and the name of the track. Do we need more than that?

A full back window decal? Nothing against it but I can tell you from experience, they are not cheap! Even the cost of a windshield banner can be suprising unless done in extreme bulk.

One idea I had would be to provide small 3 x 5 decals for free and larger ones could be approved and available for cost plus shipping.

In the next couple weeks, I'll stop by the local sign shop and see what they say. Meanwhile I know a couple peeps online who may be able to hook me up at a good price.

I'm assuming just a white vinyl exterior decal, there would be no black. The pic is one from the black tee shirts. Just pretend that's what it would look like on limo tint. ;)

Or we could get the white background in a rectangle or oval with the cutout lettering/insignia. :rolleyes:

White vinyl decal sounds good. It'd be cool to see more Lincolns at the track. Theres a few around here, but I'm not sure how many are on lod, I know two that go are on lvc. I agree that getting team events and possibly an annual thing would be awesome.
 
Don't forget there is that 1/8 mile track near Carlisle. We can have an annual event there, only open to dues paid LOD members of course. Also, if you accumulate all the time slips for the year perhaps one of the awards at the Carlisle banquet can be presented to the car with the best times, or most improved.

I really haven't had any time at all to look into this. I'll try to find a free lunch hour this week to get down there, but I'm not making any promises.
 
OK, I need people to get me the following information for the 2008 'team stats'.

Obviously the easiest way would be a pic of the timeslip. But for now we will go with the honor system. Remember, this is open for 'members only'.

Send the info to me via PM or email only - do not just post the entry.

I will then start a sticky thread with the results or better yet a separate HTML page on the website. If someone with some webpage design expertise wants to help, let me know. ;)

I will still be pursuing prices on prices on the team decals. :)
 
Race your little yellow thing J, U can be our banana mascot. I won't be able to get to the track until 2009 probably....
 
Yeah it has been raining here in Sac, and i think they might shut down the track for the winter. If the weather lets up the might...... keep it open for another week or two
