HOTLNC now has over 275K miles on it. That’s the not the problem. The problem is HOTLNC has a head gasket leak. The running motor will presurize the coolant system to where the coolant is slowly blown out of the over flow tank. The tank has an operating and new cap. There is only a trace of coolant in the oil, which eliminates an oil filter adapter leak. At in town speeds (less than 50 MPH), the car will not blow enough coolant to get hot. I’d love to put in a box motor, but I cannot justify the expense.
The next old timer problem is a leaking main seal on the tranny. This is a resonable guess, as the filter and gasket were replaced about 100 miles ago.
The OEM antenna motor was removed and replaced with crap. It doesn’t work
The state EPA/safety inspection ran out in July.
I will part it out, but I must have buyer’s old part as replacements to plug the hole.
