Well, here is the story so far. The their field guy came buy work, looked at the car, and took some pictures, and left. His assesment was that the car was repairable. He said the persan Italked to would call me shortly. She never called and a check showed up Friday for $980. Playing stupid, I called her and askedwhat is the next step. She acted all suprised that the field guy did not give me an estimate and that he was supposed to give me a check on the spot. I asked her howmuch the checkwasfor and she was like...."er let me check". I then told her I had 2 shops look at. I told her they estimated 1200$ to start. More, if more damage is found, but it is unlikely.She then siad that this was just the iunitial estimate and that what ever body shop I pick they will pay for any additional repairs beyond the $980. Plus they will provide a rental ca the entire repair period.
