Looking for help with a vibration issue

During the mid-to-late 1990's, Ford offered its dealers a vibration analyzer device. What this device did was measure the frequency of the vibrations in a vehicle.

I am personally sick of throwing parts at vibrations no matter how obvious the problem seems.

I'm still looking into getting one of these.

-Do some research on a viable better-than-stock replacement transmission mount.

-Replace the tailshaft housing bushing, or perhaps the entire tailshaft housing itself with a pre-modded one from Lonnie w/force lube mod.

I'd be interested in the tranny mount solution as well.

I have the solid rubber engine mounts and have replaced the transmission crossmember mounts. The tranny mount - I have not found any better replacement except fabbing up something solid.

Therein lies the other problem. If you think you have vibrations now, wait until you start replacing fluid mounts with rubber, rubber mounts with poly and even worse - solid mounts.

My fear of having a solid transmission mount is breaking the tailshaft housing.

Check out the 96-98 GT mounts. They are pretty close, will need slight adjustment in the cross member. They do not have the exhaust hangers though.
