Ryan, it should be just a couple of weeks until I have the long block. You will most likely see it in person since I spend a fair amount of time in your neck of the woods.

Glen, I am installing the Sean Hyland blower cams. I do not recommend anything from SHM, but I had to go with these. I did not buy them, but they should make great power with the Vortech.

Hopefully I will have the engine in the red car before you get your engine back. But you know how work goes.

You have to make some runs with the car n/a to see if you can break the 325rwhp with the mark VIII intake and automatic behind it. We will see how bad the red whore spanks you n/a, as well as forced induction.
n/a You might make more tq for sure, but even with your intake you might have more power. I am sure you will have a permanant view of my taillights on the street.

Fortunatly I forsee two n/a mark VIII's religously running 12.8-12.9 @ 105-107mph in the near future. They should be the quickest n/a mark VIII's around, and not too long afterward two of the most powerful ones as well.

I might cage the red whore, how far are you going with the the white one? YOu will be running 11's for sure with 10 psi, so you better plan on one if you want to get your best track numbers.

I'm not going to divulge too much info, But dont plan on being the fastest N/A Mark.EVER

As soon as I get yours together, I'm going to start working on my street car.Then after that I'll start back on your Daddies Silver turbo Mark.

YOu know as well as I do the red whore's engine was not meant for n/a by any means. 17cc dish does not make good power n/a.

It will do well with a lot of spray, and then shine with a little 76mm on it. I think 20-24 psi should do the trick. Most people seem to get 800rwhp out of 20psi turbo. Your car will have more power, but mine will be a street machine, not dedicated dragster.

Hurry up with my car already. What is your problems, are your arms broke? lol

Damn. Just when i get to the point where i'm going to be running some decent times, y'all go and get crazy. Well, in a couple of years i'll just take your lessons learned and come out with something crazy too.

haha, I have been trying to get crazy for 2 years now, but the pearl car jsut does not want to come back to life. Stupid car. Chris is in the same boat. His car like to just sit there as well.

Now it looks like the red car will be done first. Crazy.

All you need is some NOS and you will be fine. You saw first hand how well they run with a little shot.... Of course with a slow 2nd gen you might not get into the 12's as easily... lol

hey i already got more gear and more stall than you did running 12's, plus the cobra intake.

After seeing your motor "ventilated" after just one season, i'm hesitant to spray. I just can't afford a motor right now. I can't really afford a trans either, but that's gonna go soon enough whether i spray or not. I did just order a 4 position SCT chip (not enough $$ right now for the pro racer package) and i asked for a nitrous tune in one of the positions.

Mahles are hard to get. I had diamonds next day. Tired of waiting on other people. I need this shizzle DONE.

I can get them here in a week unless I pay extra then I can get them in 2 days.

Oh well.Youll be fine.Not saying Diamonds are bad.I just like Mahles and the best are custom JEs.But not everyone wants to spend 1200-1300 on pistons.And then another 1100-1200 on Billet rods.

Dave, trust me and rest assured that my engine did not fail due to NOS. I found out what that piece of metal was in my combustion chamber. IT was foreign. The car would still be running today if that piece of metal had not gotten in there. Most liekly with a 175 shot and bigger injectors.

I want to spray, but it'll probably be one more season before i do, unless i get some kind of sick deal on a nitrous system. Right now, my priorities are shifting toward a house, and i may have to buy one sooner than i planned (my dad may be buying a condo, i don't want to move with him then move again when i get a place, so i'll just buy a house now). I'll just ask for nitrous for christmas :).

Dave, why the Chip ? I spoke with some guys at SCT and Jerry is still here more often than not. WHen I'm done with the sc, I'll be seing him ...

I've emailed and PM'd jerry multiple times. He doesn't respond. So to hell with him, I just ordered a chip from modular depot. I eventually want to buy the pro racer package anyway, so i got an SCT chip so i can save $300 off the pro racer package price when i buy it.
