Nitrous Oxide

RE: Nitrous Oxide

I plan on spraying 200 to the red car this summer since i have a spare engine in hand now... I doubt I will trap 115 with this POS motor that is in there now though. The car used to run a 13.7-8's at 101+ all the time with the origional motor, but it will barely run a 14.2 @ 99 now.
The really pitaful part is now I even have a 3000 stall convertor in it. This goes to show the difference between some of these engines in these cars. But in defence the engine in the car now has over 190K miles on it.

:p I just got a NOS 5115 Dry kit yesterday on ebay. Yeah, I will run a Walbro 255 and FPR. I am also going to run a digital window switch for nos on at around 3500rpm and off at like 5500 rpm just before the shift point. I am also going to run a Fuel Pressure Safty Switch, I think its called a Hobbs ?? I am a noob when it comes to nitrous so I want to take my time and do the install right.

RE: Nitrous Oxide

Yes a hobbs swith is correct. I suggest lowering the lower rpm on your window switch especially if you are running a stock convertor.

Set it around 2200. Your tranny will definatly appreciate your high rpm cutoff.

RE: Nitrous Oxide

This is freakin sweet. I have got to do this. :D
