Well, Al Eggers down in Fla is selling the one &only PINKIN'
She is $8,900.00 with 17,000 miles. 3rd owner & near perfect. He's giving me first opportunity. What do you folks think? Should I take her back, like one would a 1st wife? Might be a good playmate for the greenKIN ~

Advertisment is going into Hemmings December issue, and Auto Trader, too.

Sure, why not? Ten years from now when it hits 18,000 miles you might consider selling it and making a profit. ;) As far a first wives, I know a guy that his first, third, and fifth wifes were the same women....lot of passion in that guy.

Buy it. You may never get another opportunity. Since you are thinking about it, you really like the car. Remember how bad you felt when you thought it was wrecked and in a junkyard.

a) Money is very tight , right now
b) Have zero place to store it or put it.
c) Want to borrow the money from my wife
d) Wife says "No ~ you don't need another car"
e) Less than perfection would require add'l. expense
f) $1,000 transportation to get it here.

The left side is winning, so far.
I wish I never had found it here. I wish he'd sell it to me cheaper so that a & c above would leave the equation.

Sandy, be honest, it's not about flying, you'd have a heart attack when you saw the miles turn over 18K on the trip back. ;-)

You’re the salesman, cook a deal, part of the price now on the condition he store it for the winter. Matt and you hop in jeepers or greenkin early in the spring and drive down and pickup pinkin, and it’s back home all safe and sound after the winters over still with less then 20k on the clock.

It seems that he will not budge on price, and yes, Trixie, it IS about flying :) ~ anyhow, the bigger problem is storage! I have a 2 car garage, left side is the Fleetwood, the right side is the Silver McLaren 'Vert. Around the corner in a neighbor's rented garage (dirt cheap - $1.10 cents a night) is the Grey McLaren Capri Coupe. Down in very expensive commercial underground vault-like storage, heated & air conditioned and 24 hour security is the blue McLaren 'Vert. The Town Car lives in the driveway, Jeepers is down at school. Where the "H" does Pinkin go? Unless Geno would store it for me :) :) Geno, take that photo & photoshop it how you'd do it!

I can find no solution to getting Pinkin back.

Oh, and also the owner is moving, and like me - has too many toyzz and has to get rid of alot. Condos & Townhouses only let you have 2 vehicles.

Don't worry, some kid over on "F vs C " forum will buy it from down in Florida, put big tires with those spinner things, a 6-speed, 4.57 gears, headers, straight pipes, add flames to the paint job, and a killer sound system. Yeah, don't worry it will be kool soon, somebody will fix it up nice..............yeah }>

Oh Sandy you KNOW you want PINKIN back. You've talked about that car for ages, even when you thought it didn't exist anymore. You don't need our approval but you have it if you want it.

I wish I could buy back some of my past cars... 71 SS 454 Monte Carlo, GT40, and my 70 Maverick of all things!

Get a car cover. Or put up a frickin' tent. It won't hurt it to sit outside for a little while. You need to buy some property somewhere and put up a pole barn.
