robbed

Well i do live in a mobile home thats why no attic,and prob. why it was so easy for them to break in and if i sell the car i can find a cheap one for a little bit if i have to,and at least i will be able to pay the rent
 
Talk to your landlord and explain what happened. Perhaps he/she will cut you some slack.

I don't know what kind of worker's comp claim you had or if that prevents you from working certain jobs, but hopefully you can find something decent at least for a temporary fix. I so wish this didn't happen to you.
 
I just hate not being able to pay my bills,that was the last of my settlement from the ins. co. I have no other income the landlord knows the situation now and she says she will work with me.
 
check with your land-lord...if you rent, perhaps they have some form of insurance that would help you?

best of luck on this one...it's a tough spot to be in. thieves are horrible, and there's no excuse, but considering where the economy is right now, it is going to get more and more common...some people are in a very similar situation as you are are...the difference is, they made a poor moral decision to take something from someone else.

I agree...someone had to know you had cash on hand...simply because most people dont keep that kind of cake in the cupboard.
 
Sorry to hear about what happened! Yeah times are tough but that is no reason to steal from people. I absolutely despise the kind of people that do things like this and I hope they get caught. You may not be able to recover your money and personal property from them but if they do catch them, it will feel good knowing they are behind bars. Are you allowed animals where you live? I would try to get a big dog to keep home while you are gone if possible in the future.
 
Thanks Jerm, i can have a dog but would hate to have to leave one alone when i am gone and have it craping all over lol
 
I know it's of little help now, but next time you have a safe, bolt it to the floor! Chances are they will leave it. I'll bet it was stolen because it was an easy target. Heck, they probably can't get it open!

Thanks J,you never know i might just take you up on that we now have a suspect but we are waiting on the lab to see if the prints the collected are of any use.
 
Any update or does it take a while to find out? I just am keeping my fingers crossed you find who did it and can recover at least some of the stolen property or get some recompensation.
