I had MSD wires on my 95 LSC for 2 years no problem.
I "suspect" that my MSD were fine up until I did my first plug change with them.
Seems if they were "left alone" and you didn't change your plugs very often, you might be ok.
THIS IS SPECULATION upon how mine were.
Since I was running the copper plugs I changed them often.
Far TOO often in fact...but that's another story.
During the two years you had them, did you change the plugs?
I was putting 50K in miles a year, so I would be changing plugs probably 3 times in two years.
The MDS wires were crapping JUST before the 1 year warranty expired.
That would mean, they got "moved around alot" once, maybe TWICE..before I developed a missfire.
FWIW: I was gentle with the wires after the first set I was VERY gentle with them, the outcome was always the same.First or second plug change... wala.. missfire, bad wire/wires
So far I am on my 3rd plug change with the Ford Racing wires, and I am being gentle with them during the plug swaps.. SO FAR so good.
Hopefully I didn't just jinx myself.
