What brand front air struts.

The system is trying to inflate both fronts so if the left side is open pressure won't build up.
Thanks a lot for the info. I greatly appreciate it. Yesterday I spent more than 2 hours looking for information and couldn't find anything. I was thinking of just buying a compressor.

I would worry about fixing the broken solenoid first, your compressor was strong enough to break it wasn't it?

I'm suppose to get the replacement air strut tomorrow and if the weather is good I'll install it. Hopefully the replacement doesn't break.

They are sending you a new Air Spring? I thought the problem was just the solenoid? Can you send us a photo of the broken part? I'm curious, as the main problem with these replacements seems to be the solenoid or seal on it.

I bought the part on Amazon, I just put that I wanted a replacement part and put the reason why and they sent me another strut, and I have 30 days to return the defective one. I didn't want to take off the solenoid to try with the old one because I was afraid it might void the warranty.

As soon as the weather clears I'll try to take a picture of the broken solenoid.

I installed the replacement strut and the compressor still wouldn't air up the air struts. I decided to remove the compressor and all bolts that hold the cradle where the compressor goes were loose. I also found out that the compressor was from the junk yard because of the markings it had. I decided to replace the compressor and now everything is working fine.

Nicely done. I've been burned by junkyard parts more times than I can count... a story as old as time. or as old as cars, anyway.
