I originally posted this first photo in the post a photo you took today thread, I thought I'd start a new thread to show some more shots of it.
I'm taking this engine apart, hopefully to try and sell the block and free up some room for a good running spare engine. It was originally in my Green 94 Mark VIII. It developed a tick but I didn't have time to work on it then. I haven't seen any spring, rocker or tensioner damage yet, it might have just been a bad tappet.
I'm really amazed how good this engine looks, It had about 190K miles on it, there is no visible wear on the chains, sprockets, guides or tensioners. You can still see the factory cross hatching on the cylinders. This engine always ran great, getting excellent fuel mileage.
