You could wire it a number of ways but it depends what the amp is capable of. You are probably safe wiring each coil to the separate terminals. Sometimes the amp allows you to bridge the output into one so that you could wire it the way you have show. That way you get a 2 ohm output (more...

Its not that bad Sharon, just a matter knowing which wire goes where. Most of the time they are labeled anyway so its plug and play! What's a pain is if you have to work in the trunk. I've learned that I'm getting to big to play in the trunk......that's where the kid comes in handy! :D...
