Well guys with a little clutch slippage on the first dyno run I had to pull the trans and have the slave cylinder spacer machined down by .25". Now the trans is back in and the clutch is functioning perfectly. So this Saturday is dyno tune day II. I will report back with dyno numbers after...
Thanks for the good words guys. Well picked up the driveshaft today and got it installed. While I was under the car I went through I tied up some loose ends. Just ziptied some wores and wire in my reverse lights. I used the 2 empty terminals that are in the Dallas Mustang speed cal, quick easy...
Here's a video

Well I went and had a chip burnt by Lidio at Alternative Auto. He turned off the PATS,EGR, rear O2s and threw in the 30 lb injectors. Plugged it into the car and it fired right up. I had a stuck injector on number 8 for a minute. After a little heat and a couple throttle bumps...
You are correct. I sat in front of the computer for about an hour, and learned that with a pats fault the car will run for 1 second and than the PCM shuts off the injectors and fuel pump. With a complete cobra PATS it would also interupt the starting system. Since my starting system is...
From what I am seeing in the EVTM the PATS is just an interrupt in the starting system. Basically, wrong key equals no start, from what I am seeing. I could be wrong but there is no PATS specific circuit in the EEC pinout.
One more trans pic.
I also modified the oil pressure gauge and installed the pressure switch.
Now my question for the pros. I primed the motor and attempted to start it. It starts for about 2 secs and dies immediately. No amount of throttle will do anything. If I touch the throttle while it is...
some progress
Thanks for the good words guys.
Well I got some more stuff done. Sorry for the down time, I was in fabricator purgatory. The trans shifter relocation bracket is finished.
Slave cylinder and custom line installed (thanks to McLeod Racing) I didnt end up using this bleeder setup...
Excellent, thank you for the tip. I've also heard that you can hold the gas pedal to the floor which shuts off the injectors. You think that will work too ?
Thanks
