For the steering modification you don't need any DD material. You pull the slip shaft off of the factory shaft and use that DD stock to attach the U-joint. Then the 36 spline shaft attaches to the other end and goes down to the rack. It attaches to the rack with a 36 spline coupler.

Yea. I'm in cahoots with a supercharger rebuilder, and have to wait for the 1st impeller and mainshaft they produce. This F1A is incredibly expensive to build. The impeller bearings alone are 330 bucks. Seals, remainder of bearings, and various parts add up quick.
