my 95 tc has developed a shifting malfunction ....... first it wasnt reaching all the way to park , then it got so bad , it wont go into drive at all...... ive had little luck looking for parts listed in parts houses , and havent yet raised it up to look underneath (im a lame old fat guy)...

so today , i performed some exploratory on the 93. found the rattle ....... heat shield on one of the resonators.... the starter issue was an obvious cure........we got a new starter , but we never did get around to tightening the bolts....oops .......that wont be an issue again. lookie...

so the only real difference is the pipes and the tranny. the article was worded misleadingly. my parts car has sweet pipes on it , they will eventually end up under the 93... nothing wrong with what its got for now. although it may have an aode tranny , or it may have a 4r70w .... seems both...

i've noticed on my 95 that the blower 'has to think about it', and generally will only kick on after going from high to off and back a few times , then it will run at any setting

yeah , the hole in the fender is like five inches wide on the 95 and 7 on the 93 ... measurements are guesstimated , but they were so much that i should have seen it before taking it apart ..... not to mention the extra bolt that holds on the 93 ones .....so i'm guessing that the only way they...

another thing you might try to pinpoint the noise. you can use a hardwood stick (like a hammer handle or a piece broomstick) like a stethoscope put your ear to one end , and the other to the engine component in question (be careful to stay clear of moving parts)..... if it is a valve , i'll bet...
