    New tires 245/45ZR18

I did have the same problem.. twice. First time was when I bought wheels and tires from the custom wheel shop. 18's. The hub centric rings were slightly off, one ring of electrical tape cut to end match and they were smooth. When I went to the 20" godspeeds it was pretty bad from 65-73ish...

    Engine issues

Not good Driller, how the top of the bore? Hard to tell with the gasket marks but it doesn't look good.

Just another day at the track

Driller, you've been fighting with this motor for quite some time now. Have you looked at the injector timing? I thought I read in your build thread it had custom cams. I would do another compression check and compare your numbers from last year, make sure you've got good flow at the suspect...

"Scrunch" noise from Front Left... Traction Control Related?

I'm sure that is exactly what it is.

    Weapon X

Sounds good, lean at idle could have been from the multi fire on those coils; if what they claim is true in their media release. Fat at the top end could be in the tune but if it was good before it makes me wonder if the coils didn't charge as quick to capacity for a proper discharge at high...

"Scrunch" noise from Front Left... Traction Control Related?

I haven't driven mine in about a year but from what I remember.. Once you reach a certain speed the abs cycles and is active, I remember hearing the noise every time in about the same spot on the road leaving my house. When the traction control activates it is much louder but a similar sound.

    Weapon X

That would depend on if the adaptive learning was on. When tweeking the MTF you would want it off... I've seen a lot of big boost cars leave it off in the tune. Ideally you zero in the MTF as close as you can, dial it in a little closer with the stft and set your af table. What's wrong with...

    Cam talk

A lot of folks have been very pleased with their "factory" cam swap. Pulling a 4v apart and doing a proper degree job will almost always net you more power, the factory set up has quite a bit of slop in it. I personally have spent more than enough on my motor, with the cost of another set of...

Did you back the plug off the seat before you let it sit overnight?

    spark plug issues

Mine were the same way the first time I changed them. Did valve cover gaskets and cured the oil problem, a layer of thin foam tape on the coil cover hard gasket will cure the water problem. Mine were tight and I did a seafoam treatment and bumped all the plugs an 1/8 of a turn, sprayed deep...

Vacuum switch on drivers side valve cover

What is the vacuum switch for on the drivers side valve cover? (gen 2) EGR or maybe air injection valve?

    Quarter Window Leak

I used butyl tape when I put mine back in. Roll it until it is the same thickness as the oem and reinstall. If you use urethane or permetex that window is never coming out without destroying something (the studs will prevent you from cutting it away from the body)

    Forward strut rod spacers

$135 is a good price and Jay does quality work. One piece spacers would be significantly more and are no fun to make in any large quantity.
