Every year I cuss at my Mark VIII when I give it its yearly oil change. I don’t know if its the stupidity of how the filter is located or the mess it makes. I’m such an anal nut that I have to wash the underneath of the car/k member with brake clean that gets me aggravated.

Neither. Just a car battery. If you buy a 60mo battery replace it in 3 years, if you buy a 72mo replace it 4 years you’ll be golden and never have an issue.

Hey the Hemi it ‘makes’ the car. If they still offered the 392 in a 300 I’d tell you to get that ( I had one in a Challenger). A Hemi 300S is a great car.......A 392 Charger HMMMMM.

You leave the bracket unbolted in front of the crank pulley. I have underdrive pulleys and left all my air injection in place and functioning. The ‘point’ where the bolt hole is will ride inside the lower crank pulley but won’t move or go anywhere.

What are you going to be running for a gear and converter?

Just an FYI if there is a Rural King in your area they have group 65 batteries with 850 CCA for 74.99. These are made by Exide the last few Motorcraft I bought were made by Johnson Control in Mexico.

The 5spd Auto behind my 392 SRT8 worked great and the 8spd in my truck seems fine. Haven’t heard of any 8spd issues with the newer SRTs, Hellcats, or Demons?
