Haha, this is funny. The guy selling those parts is a con. You have $500 worth of parts there, and it's FAR from the complete eaton swap kit. Like $2500 short in parts only.

So to make some power (dollar per HP) on my 94 mark would it be best, simplest and price to keep heads and btm end, swap intake for 96-99 cobra and get a aftermarket blower and intercooler (as long as I don’t go with massive boost to destroy the piston and rods)? And will a cobra intake still fit under a factory hood.

I've found this list on mustang bords, there are few parts from that list that you don't need when doing a swap on a Mark VIII but you have to add heads and some custom work to that list.

Here is the part's list that would be needed when doing the supercharged 03 cobra swap on 99-01 cobras and 03-04 Mach 1 .

(6312) Crank pulley /Harmonic Balancer
(6312B) Supercharger Crank drive pulley

it says you need a "cobra fuel tank" i highly dought you need a new fuel tank... hey ill eat my hat if anyone on here actually did the c head swap and put a used eaton utilizing all these used factory parts and paid 10k. im guessing it could be done for under 3.

i see most people on here have gone with a vortec, so they must have done there homework. but i what i was trying to say is that it IS technically possible to get it done using all ford oem parts, if you came across them somewhere for the right price.

Why is it someone who has'nt even come close to doing it has so much wisdom ? Honestly, people have been trying to help you, and all you do is try and contradict them. Do you know that there are people here who have performed this upgrade, and that their parts purchase capabilities probably (for low cost pricing) is second to none, and that they performed pretty much their own labor (freebie). They are telling you the truth, NOT UNDER $3,000 PERIOD.

when you post the same question on 3 different {or more) message boards, you get the combined knowledge from each of the communities.. and it NO TIME FLAT you become an "expert at mark 8's".

Since he's having problems with "rear brakes" I really dont put much weight in him getting his car supercharged for 3K or less.
