With how often they fail I would just start looking into aftermarket, but I lack the knowledge when it comes to radio equipment.

If you're hell bent on keeping it I might be able to get you a cartridge for free, just pay shipping.

I have the 10 disc in 2 cars. When they work they sound great. Seems like when I remove an install the cartdridge a few times, they'll work again, but for how long?
