J jeremy New member Nov 21, 2005 #1 1997 Continental : Which wheel speed sensor "powers" the speedometer? Thanks in advance
HOTLNC LOD Officer Nov 22, 2005 #2 None. The wheel sensors you are seeing are for the Anti-skid braking system. They measure wheel rotation under braking and reduce hydraulic pressure to that wheel if it tries to stop (skid). The speed sensor is in the tranny.
