FS: 1997 lincoln mark viii lsc perforated

I picked up a really good set of front seat covers removed from a car built 12/97. I know the 97's and the 98's are different colors that both look like black. A few things make me think it's a 97. The engine had the alternator cover, the abs module cover was aluminum not plastic and the rear abs sensor have 97 part numbers on them. I picked-up the door panels as well bacause it's rare to find a nice interior. The center console was destroyed. I'll get picture posted. I would like to get these gone quick.

This is the only 97 that was made really late in 97. The parts mentioned are not the 98's only pieces like they should be. I'll have to check if it's the same black that is in my 04 cobra which is dark charcoal which is the same the 98 midnight black.

Looking thru the inside of the seat, seat track and i finally found an id tag inside of the door panels. I read that they had lowered the price of the Mark VIII's because of the sagging sales. I did not think they had made the 97 panels in 11-99, like i said the abs components are 97's along with the 97 interiors in a 98 car? Must have had some parts left over and just threw this one together.

My daughter took pictures of the seat but there was too much glare. Here are some pictures of the driver's side which usually is the worst off. I am selling just the seat covers. The foam on the driver side of the seat was distorted because the fiam underneath was crushed.

My car was made in October 97 and it's a 98. They did mix and match parts during the transition from 97 to 98. For instance, the 97's had a chrome door striker plate, but changed to black on 98's. Mine has the chrome, even though it's a 98. So it's entirely possible for a 98 to have some 97 parts. Looking at the pics, those look like the 98 color (Midnight Black) to me. If I had them in front of me I could tell right away, but pics are hard to go by. Why that door panel sticker says "Ebony", which is the 97 color is beyond me. So is the 1999 manufacturing date.
