I am parting out a 1998 Mark VIII LSC in great shape. The transmission died and it's too expensive to fix for an 18 year old car. Plus a bunch of extra parts
Toreador Red, Tan interior
Plus I also have a great 1997 Mark VIII LSC as my keeper car.

Call or send me an email (Pungo9 {at} Rcn.com) for Pictures and list of parts

struts 1.jpgstruts 2.jpgstruts 4.jpgstruts 5.jpgstruts 6.jpgHere's a good story: my "keeper" Mark VIII LSC was making a rattling noise in the front suspension area. I bought it a few weeks earlier so I called the prior owner and he thought it was the front spring struts. I purchased a new set of front struts and instructed my local mechanic to install them.
When I picked up the Mark from the shop, the mechanic informed me that the noise was in the stabilizer ends which he replaced and that fixed the noise. WHAT ABOUT THE STRUTS YOU ASK: well the mechanic did as I asked, he removed the (attached pic) front struts and installed my new struts.
The mechanic proceeded to inform me that the struts he removed were every bit as good (maybe better) than the old struts. So, I located the invoice for the old struts in the copies of "stuff" that came with my Mark and sure enough is an invoice for new front struts costing $240 purchased in October 2015 with less than 2000 miles since installed.
What you see below are the two front struts from my '97 Mark just waiting for a new home $100 plus shipping via UPS (or your favorite shipper)
