2016 Street Machine summer nationals

July 15th-17th 2016 @ MN State Fair Grounds in ST Paul.

This will be my tenth year going, always fun and like Carlisle except more shade and you can park in the middle of the action. I encourage anyone who can go to do so. There is usually around 5000 cars, and a couple of rednecks.

I'll be there with my Lincoln, and I know slowmkviii will be there as well. Tixer didn't know he was going till I volunteered him.

I saw one of those for sale in Iowa last weekend, and I thought about turning around to look... I always kinda liked those 80's Camaros.

I really need to update my E85 thread. The car is on all fours now. I drove it to Holiday earlier this evening to top off the fuel cell for the dyno session on Friday morning. Provided nothing catastrophic happens, I will be there on Friday in the afternoon. Saturday and Sunday for sure all day. Here's a teaser pic.

Tixer, I had started an event for this on the Facebook Midwest Mark VIII page that fell to the wayside since I have been dealing with getting the car done and another job transition. I stopped doing any footwork on hotel availablity and other details. There was some interest from some out-of-staters so I posted on the page this morning a last minute callout and free room and board available after I saw your gracious offer. If I get any PMs over on the Facebook page I will let you know asap if anyone is going to come out.

I will be on the dyno at 10AM tomorrow morning and headed out to the fairgrounds right after. A Kenne Bell Gen1 and myself will likely be rolling in together whistling and whining.
