2nd Gent Taillight

I’m thinking of doing a custom replacement of the neon bulb in the 98 taillight (I was in custom auto so I’m not worried about the work) I have found neon rope and LED strips that come in custom lengthen. I do need to know the factory neon bulb color: white light or amber/red. Light color is important of obvious reasons. Open to suggestions as well or replacement balast info. greg@gregfranklinhomes.com

That helps out a lot. I had found Neon tube that you cut to desired length and is extremely flexible and cheep. Thought I could get 2 sets make 2 passes with one set for parking light and another 2 passes with the 2nd for break light. I also fount Led Strips that comes different links and colors. I replaced the ballast once with one of GLITCH (RIP) it went out a few months ago.

From zero - to me jealously hating you in 46 posts... :D :p :D

That's gotta be a new record... :D

And the car sounds good too... sigh... :D

What's going on with that wing, I think we need many many more pics :D

Edit: Don't you also have some crazy custom headlight?

You've come up with an alternative and I like the sequential turn signals, but personally I'm not crazy about all those little LED light dots. Works good though! Cool Star Trek communicator chirp from the original series!

Only the real trekkies would know what that sound was.
If I did another tail light I might do it a little different but I like the way this one turned out.

I don't wanna... Lol
If I were to do mine again I would probably do it a little different.
Shoot me a PM with what you're actually looking for. I can start a new thread with pictures and parts list too.
