He sounded interested, and asked about the hotel. We won't be able to get down there until Friday evening; I would estimate arriving by 7:00.

I don't remember a swap meet the year we went, but it says there was one on the paperwork I kept.

I'm not sure if Dean is going after all. It looks like he posted about going to the Downriver Cruise instead. What to do??

Going to do the Down River Cruise. I only have one day and Indy is too far for a one day event. I can get to Fort Street in about 3 hours.

I'll get reservations at the Comfort Inn posted earlier.

It'll be a late night Friday arrival and mid day Sunday departure.

Edit - I'll check the host hotel(s) first.

The host hotel (Hampton Inn) still had rooms and we were able to make reservations.

Boy was it HOT! We enjoyed visiting with El Presidente and the First Lady of LOD during the show, and dinner was great!

it is hot down here in Elk Horn,IA as well. i just learned that Exira, the next town over(and dad's home town) is having a car show today. i may have to go represent LOD.
