Both were driving units when cars were driven in to shop and parted out. Both marks had engine issues, one was blown head gasket, and other one had bad oil pump gasket leak.

One looks rebuilt judging from new pump and marker writing, but dont know for sure.
One came from the black 94 Mark 8 and other came from the red 97 Mark 8 LSC.

250.00 each. Have torque convertors and plate.

Sitting in my shipping container along with tons of Mark VIII parts hoods and fenders and complete black leather 98 LSC interior including seatbelts.

Hmm.. Tell me more about these black interior parts. Is there any chance that car had the factory cell phone? I'd love the A-pillar trim with the little button..

A good driver's seat lather + foam might be nice too. Mine's a little flat.

The drivers seat and pass seat covers gone, but everything else was there for black interior including the back sail panels saved. Yes it had the push button on the A pillar. I thought that was cool when i saw it. Sorry, no phone though but the plugs were there for it. Was long gone when we parted the car.

I still got your two complete moonroofs you had me pull from back when, i wrote you name on one in dust on glass. lol. Still in the shipping container. got hoods and front fenders as well. The pole barn that was out there has been dis assembled and sold. It's gone. The new 60X60 spot is cleared for the new one.IMG_0002.jpg1358807666156.jpg1359226726525.jpg

That's awesome, Jeff. Thanks.

The phone being missing is no loss.. I'm interested in the trim with the button to potentially integrate the microphone, (and possibly the button itself) into my aftermarket car stereo for bluetooth use. And the more I look at the rest of those parts, the more I wonder if I should be hoarding them all...

As for the moonroof(s,) They may now be less of a concern as that car is presently at the "Detroit day spa" being worked on for sale to another member here. However, the moonroof is still all kinds of broken, so don't throw 'em out just yet.

Not to mention that if one of those moonroofs is the same "black" as the interior you have, I can't help but wonder if I need that particular spare part also.. :)

Indy's a 9 hour drive, with Chicago on the way back. This seems pretty reasonable.

Rolling to Indianapolis tommorow. Im sure well be back for trailer pickup. Sending it up there to be moddded for more clearance. And that purple truck is getting a new Texas hauler bed welded up for the backend. No time to load transmission this time, too close for scheduling/loading.
Ill bring a tranmission and sunroof on way back up there to pickup trailer and truck.

Thanks, Jeff.

I hope the mods go real well. We'll have to coordinate a bit when you plan your return trip. I'll see if I can't get a road trip of my own to coincide with yours.

I'm a big fan of the "LOD Parts Relay Service." I've done my part a number of times now..

Let me shoot him a PM and work it out.

as it turns out, it is very likely that I'll be flying to Chicago later this month to actually buy a pickup. depending upon timing, this could all work very well.
