I have an 88 Continental and the transmission is having an issue from first to second gear. I have a friend with a freshly rebuilt transmission from a 92 Taurus (also from a 3.8)... and since his engine just went "teats up" he would give to me. Will that swap work? When the car is running I enjoy it.
Last month, having put in a new Jasper Engine and replacing almost everything else... I usually just throw my wallet in the passenger door, slam it, come back in a few minutes and see how much money is missing. Would sure love an inexpensive fix for a change.
