WTB: 93-98 Mark RH window run

Looking for the RH window run for my 98 LSC. (the felt track the glass sits in) Ford part number is a 93 number so it's the same 93-98. Must be in mint condition or VERY close to mint.

Let me know what you have. Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah I saw that but what Doug replaced is not the window run. The window run is the piece that slides up into that runs around the whole window frame.

I still need one BTW :(

I'm disappointed to see that these are apparently difficult to come by. given the terrible condition of the ones on my '86, it stands to reason that we'll all need this part eventually.

Mike I believe most don't want to a)take the window run out of a door they can sell whole or b)bother spending the time to take this part out. Honestly I don't blame them but doesn't change the fact that mine has a chunk missing on the outside edge of it and has to be replaced :D

FWIW, when the Blue Flame was having the body work done, they wanted to replace the LH window run. After looking in the manual for the R&R procedure, I simply removed the door from the parts car and gave it to them for them to remove the window run and swap it out. :)

Bryan,

I am thinking that your best chance of getting one that might be good would be from Racebronco2 as he is in Cali, I would contact him direct. Next comes the removal and then the shipping. That part is going to be very interesting to ship from anywhere and not get it bent or damaged in some way.

Thanks, I'm actually speaking to him about it as I was very happy with the previous parts I bought from him.

Yeah I was concerned about the shipping too... :(

If i ship it i will need to sandwich it between two peices of plywould so it wouldn't get bent out of shape. I just need to find a big picture frame box.

It's not so difficult to remove or install, but you do need two people, one to hold it up so it doesn't get bent, and another to do the attaching.
Shipping it between two pieces of plywood or some hardboard is probably a good idea, although you'll need a filler because it's not flat.

can someone post a picture of a window run not in the car? Does it include the black trim piece that bubbles up on the driver's side?

The photos below are the window runs, one is for the drivers side and the other is for the passenger side. Both of these are already taken by beerdog (actually 2 drivers side window runs) and Sctbird1173. The cost is 30.00 each. I don't have time today of tomorrow to get shipping prices because i need to get ready to do some open tracking with my cobra. I will get shipping prices on sunday.
