Ok I have been trying to figure out this problem for a while now ok when it is above 70 degrees outside and the car warms up then you shut it off and start it back up it has a bad heasataion and it gets a strong gas smell like it is running really really rich... Ok here is a list of new parts :maf, iac, egr, dpfe, tps, and I have replaced some of the vaccum lines but not all yet and I pulled the intake manifold and imrc plates and cleaned as much carbon as I could out and I took the imrc plates out and yes it done this same thing even before I took the imrc plates out I was hoping it would help but it didn't and when I pull the codes it has no codes just the 111 code for everything is ok but it's not ok... Any ideas cause I'm ready to burn this car I have put at least 1500dollars over what it's worth into it and still no luck

You didn't mention gas filter, or 02sensors. Compression tests hot, and cold. Strange that it only does this when the weather is above 70 degrees.

No I haven't put a fuel filter in yet but I have it already and no I ain't changed to o2 sensors yet but that is my next step and to answer the question how long it does it for it does it till the outside temp gets back down to 70 or under

Do the marks run off of the iat all the way till they reach half way or above on the temp gauge and then swap over to the o2sensors????

The air makes it way worse and when it is heasatating like it does it has a bad spark knock like it is running really rich

Oh and I forgot it has msd super conductor plug wires and blaster coils and new plugs that are one step colder than factory

And below 70 degrees is 'no problem' or less of a problem?

They run in open loop for either a fixed time period and/or a fixed engine coolant temperature when it switches to closed loop (unless you go wide open throttle).

I'm having difficulty understanding what you are trying to convey here. Are you saying when you run the AC, it makes it worse?

Oh and I forgot it has msd super conductor plug wires and blaster coils and new plugs that are one step colder than factory
I doubt the ignition is of any consequence, but did it by any chance start these symptoms when the plug wires, coils and plugs were changed?
