95 Mark VIII Convertible

Mark my Bird!
Send him your car, he'll take very good care of you.
I know that silly! :roll_over: Most of the fun of building a car is doing the work... Now I'm not saying I wouldn't mind some of Jeremi's expertise if I had the spare money and he wasn't 10 hours away. :(

From the summer when I had air issues. Just missing driving it so thought I'd share. Thanks to Bruce Budnick I was able to replace the compressor with a new OEM unit. And of course, thanks to Jeremi for his tech support.

My Mark VIII days are over....for good....I mean that....seriously....done.....

...unless a convertible crosses my path for sale....

your car is one of dreams for me...thanks for all the pics...and if he's 10 hours or 10 days away...the day I find a car that needs some J...Jeremi and I will finally meet in person, his garage fridge will have an endless supply of his beverage of choice, and a blank check will have his name on it.

Jeremi's a fan of the Creemore, FYI. something that I suspect is pretty easy to find in your neck of the woods.. :D

If you have a blank check why don't you take a Mark to a shop and have one turned into a convertible?

There was a company in the 80's that did the same thing...R Stramann I believe was their name....at our body shop we had to fix a lot of their shortcomings. (restoration shop I worked at had many customers with "other" cars, so while we restored their classic, they'd bring in their modern cars for some things as well)

so while I used the term "blank check", I never said it was good for any amount...I just said it was 'blank"....The amount would be filled in when we struck a deal...and Jeremi knows I'd rather pay HIM for his skills/knowledge than some shop for their name. :)~

So, thinking the unthinkable. I'm thinking of upgrading to a sl65 as my 1 toy. Thinking of selling the vert. The only reason I would sell is due to garage space. If you are interested shoot me a pm. I'm busy this weekend otherwise I'd be down in CT test driving one. If it's still there the weekend after then the vert may be pushed out doors, with a cover. Then it'll just sit there.
