WTB: 96-98 Cobra Intake cams

I hate to say it but all the mustang crap is in the FB groups now, pretty much forcing the issue if your looking hard, I have see a few for sale lately.

I would think if you want to do cams, you'd want to do the heads and intake as well for maximum benefit.

cobra cams is probably a drop in +10 or so.
degreed, +20 or so, depending on how bad the factory degreeing is, mine was quite bad.
the gains are more in a c head motor probably.
its not usually worth it unless you have the motor out already.
mine was already out and receiving c heads, so it was no extra labor for me.

I get it. I shouldn't even touch this car but thinking about taking it up a notch. In the end I still want it to be a highway cruiser that idles, is quiet, and drives like a stock car gets 25+ mpg that I can drive almost anytime.

the factory degreeing can really be that far off?
What intake are you going to run on the C heads? 99/01 Cobra?

If you keep the B heads, try to get an actual 96 intake cam set. The second lobe had different specs than the primary. 97/98 had the same specs on both lobes.

i am about 99% certain that was proved false.
or it is so slight, it could not be measured, so basically the same thing.
