Hey guys I'ts nice to be back here, I've long lost my login info I used to be a regular poster a number of years ago, but I have accepted the loss of that account its been years since I've even visited this site. Well, anyway I'm Rick from Orlando, Florida, and this will be my 4th Mark Viii. I also have the steering column issue and an HID low-beam issue (thats my main problem, it won't come on and autozone says they don't carry it) so I look forward to hear your input. Well, here is she is! Its a 97 Base model. I'll try to take some interior pictures soon. Don't worry that square tape on this windows is from the guy who sold it used that for he sign -.- and there is a before and after on the headlight cleaning ^^

Welcome! :)

Other than buying a used bulb you'll likely need to convert to an aftermarket HID kit.

Is it likely to find a used bulb? Aftermarket doesn't sound bad either, can't be too pricey and I feel I'm more than able to do it myself, do you know what the bulb number it is so i can find it?

Welcome. Where at in Orlando?
I live down in St.Cloud, and there are others from the Central Florida area as well.
I just converted to Jays headlight kit and have my original set of HID bulbs (mine is a 97 Base as well) and inverter spare now.....not using them. Shoot me a PM and we can talk about you trying them out in your car.

I'm in Windermere right now but I drive all over, I visit kissimmee often. Having an issue with the tranny now its starting in 2nd and doesnt want to go in first.. :*(

We should definitely meet up ! I was wondering about getting a local Florida Mark VIII meetup, considering most of them are in Florida !
