abs code 63

i checked the codes earlier an it pulled a 63 pump motor speed sensor. now what i wana know is could something else cause it to pop that code or is it the the abs pump has to be replaced?

probably gonna need a pump. another pump fixed that code in my 93.
i was able to buy the pump by itself.

RAYBESTOS Part # ABS550039 on rock auto and i paid $82 + shipping. it seems the price has gone up a little. you could probably source a used one from a member somewhere.

that was just over a year ago now. still working great.

i changed the relay today and jumped the hot wire to the pump to purge it an it seems to working fine now

So it was just the relay?

i think it was either that or air in the pump that couldnt get out
