ABS issue.

My ABS light is on. Is there a way to check for codes?

The ABS motor is on all the time, you can hear it, and feel it in the brake pedal.

Prior brake work was 1 year, and 5,000 miles ago, I replaced all the steel brake lines, rubber brake lines calipers, rotors, and master cylinder.
The car preformed flawlessly up intil last week. I pulled the wheels, everything appears ok.

Casper, it sounds like your abs control module has bit the dust. That module is what sends a feed to the pump. If it fails, it can run full time. As a temporary solution, I would pull the fuse for that so it doesn't burn out the pump prematurely. There is a separate connector port under the hood for reading codes in the abs system. I am uncertain whether you can rent that scanner from your local auto store or not.

THanks for your reply.
I can take the car over to a friend's garage, and have him pull the codes/ The problem lies in that I don't think it a good idea to drive the car like that. I will pull the fuse temporarily

Where is the control module located? I may take a trip to the salvage yard and see about getting another one, as I'm sure new, it would probably be costly

I changed all the relays in the power center with known good ones from my truck. There was no change. Is there another place for relays besides the power center?
