AC compressor swap

I will be changing an AC compressor this weekend. Any tips or advice for removing it?

Its a pain in the ass.
I have only dropped one to get at the crank sensor.
Maybe loosen the engine mount on that side? Jack up engine a little.

Me and my brother discovered a good combination of sockets to get the compressor out during the crank sensor incident.

The stanely tool kit has some nice mid length sockets that fit right in there with enough room to turn 2/3 bolts on it. The last one is done through the wheel well( although you can do another through there if you want)

No idea about the lines on it

Thanks for the wheel well tip. I have everything disconnected. One must-do is to remove the fan assembly and the air filter box and intake tube. Also want to remove all AC line brackets and screws so the lines have some play. I Will also be changing the orifice tube and dryer. Will finish up tomorrow.
