boy were they wrong, friday they all said on the news " oh it wont be anything more than a tropical storm before it dies off, lol as of this morning its now a cat 3 hurricane max sustained winds of 120 mph and not too far east of florida!!!!!!!!!!!!
they now say it should be a threat to the united states at all, but they also said 3 days ago it wouldnt become a hurricane, i say, let it hit florida, i'm ready for some parasailing!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's funny if you actually do it...and end up in Alabama.

Reminds me of that German Olympic athlete who got sucked up into a thunderstorm. Ended up floating around at 35,000 feet. The frozen corpse came down after a couple hours.

hell we're almost due west of your location, well a little northwest.. but almost in a straight line from where the storm is.. and where you are.

No worries.. that is an east coast storm.. even if it's the east coast of florida!

yeah it is turning finally, and its breaking up too, the eye is already gone and the wind shear is having its way on it, they are still concerned with bermuda though, high sees and some heavy wind gusts, they said if it does get near bermuda it should only be a cat 1 storm by that time, but high sees could wreak havoc on the island. well, better them than me!

yeah i was just going to say, you mean on fire california, or smoggy california, or flooded or mudslide california, should i go on lol. people can say anything they want about the weather in florida, it doesnt matter what state you live in, there is bad in any one of our states, from floods and tornadoes, to blizzards earth quakes and hurricanes, doesnt matter where, there is something bad about living anywhere. and brag about california, when yellow stone erupts, i'll still have a few days more than you to work on my tan before i die!!!!

I'll take 2-3 hurricanes a year, rather than living with the smognazi weirdafornia emissions laws.

Ya, my Mom, Sister, and Stepdad are getting hit really hard up in Paradise. My mom called this morning and the hospital on Pentz Rd where she works is evacuating and in danger of burning up. CHP has a hard closure on her street and she is about 2 miles from the center of the fire and on stand by for evacuation. She was telling me yesterday that it looks like a nuclear bomb went off, black smoke, ash everywhere, its crazy!
