After getting the Viper back from the performance shop he rolled it.
What I was told the guy left the bar and was going 140 mph down a 2 lane road and rolled it.

That car doesn't have traction/stability control. At one point i was kind of thinking about getting one 2nd hand, but didn't since it lacks the electronics that keep cars like that "safe".

That feature is crucial for anyone unless they are race car drivers.

Yup, they are dinosaurs. A powerful engine with gobs of torque and an inexperienced driver is a recipe for disaster on the streets. They can get away from you so easy even if you have experience. Sport cars are now even coming with launch control in addition to traction and stability control.

Though, electronics dont always save you. I was at a bbq for a local car forum, and a kid with a new Nissan GT-R, supposedly rolled it leaving the metropark. I'm still waiting to see pics.

I don't consider myself a race driver but I hate electronic stability control, traction control, etc... I learned to drive 'sideways'. LOL

The only 'electronic controls' I have become accustomed to is ABS.

And automatic speed volume control on the stereo.
