Kevin Anderson and I went to Lynn house this morning. Kevin got there earlier and sorted through the stuff. He made piles for her to sell (new Cobra wheel in box and other stuff) and put stuff for the car in the car. I put the computer tap for the OBDII in the back seat.
The plan is Kevin will clean the car up and put a charge on the battery. He's going to try to start it this weekend and do an evaluation on the motor. It looks like the storms we had a couple of nights ago whacked the car and Lynn’s house. There was a roofing guy climbing on her house with a tape measure. I counted three hail dings in the trunk lid. We'll be able to see other dings after the car is cleaned up. Kevin's wife volunteered to wash it tomorrow.
I rented a U-Haul trailer (from the same company I'd rented the trailer in the "One of Life's..." story. They didn't believe I was gonna use it LOCALLY. <sigh> They whined about my cowboy hitch and the 5000 pound plus tow rating a bumper hitch has. Thier computer said a Mark VIII plus trailer is 5200 pounds. I argued I was not pulling a ShotRod Lincoln between New Mexico and Fort Worth and it worked great then. They rented it to me anyway.) We took the car to Kevin's house. Bad, Bad Leroy Blue did a great job, although is that a miss I hear? Hummm.
